Breaking: Aninri youths Jubilate as Hon. Orji Nnajiofor Stephen Emerges Accord Party Consensus Candidate for Aninri State Constituency
There was jubilation across Aninri Local Government Area following the emergence of philanthropist and education advocate, Hon. Orji Nnajiofor Stephen, as the consensus candidate of the Accord Party for the 2027 Enugu State House of Assembly election for Aninri State Constituency.
Hon. Orji Nnajiofor Stephen, widely known for his humanitarian gestures and support for education, recently paid WAEC fees for over 80 students across the five towns in Aninri and also cleared school fees for more than 100 indigent students from Oduma, Nenwe, Okpanku, Ndeabor, and Mpu.
Speaking with journalists after securing the party ticket, the Accord Party candidate stated that he is determined to reposition Aninri through purposeful and people-oriented legislative representation.
According to him, his major priorities include:
- Education: Expanding access to education through yearly scholarships, WAEC sponsorship, and financial support for university students.
- Healthcare: Organizing regular medical outreach programs to improve healthcare delivery in rural communities.
- Border Disputes: Giving urgent legislative attention to the lingering boundary disputes between Okpanku and Uburu, as well as Mpu and Ishiagu communities.
- Agriculture & Youth Empowerment: Supporting farmers with agricultural programs while creating empowerment opportunities for youths across Aninri.
Hon. Nnajiofor emphasized that the people of Aninri deserve inclusive representation capable of attracting meaningful development projects to the constituency.
“If elected, the people of Aninri will witness a new dimension of representation where a House of Assembly member can facilitate road projects, build schools, secure scholarships, and genuinely empower the youths,” he stated.
Residents and youths across the constituency have continued to commend his grassroots approach, generosity, and commitment to human capital development, describing his emergence as a hopeful sign for the future of Aninri politics.
